Simple terms for using 4ool Image Tools, including result verification, browser limitations and image-processing expectations.
Using the tools
4ool Image Tools provides free browser-based image utilities as-is. Use the tools with images you are entitled to process and share.
No account is required. You remain responsible for the source files you choose and for how you use generated images.
Check the result before relying on it
Keep original files when they are important. Check the appearance, dimensions, transparency, orientation, file size and readability of a downloaded result before replacing or sharing an image.
Conversion and re-encoding may change quality, colors, metadata and file size. A format change does not restore previously lost image detail. Compression does not guarantee a specific reduction or any reduction at all.
Browser and device limitations
Availability and performance depend on browser features, device memory and the file being processed. Limits on file size and image dimensions are used to reduce memory pressure, but successful processing on every device is not guaranteed.
Unusual, unsupported or corrupt images may fail to decode, encode or display. Animated images and formats outside the stated JPG, PNG and WebP support are outside this version’s scope.
Metadata and privacy checks
Metadata inspection depends on the supported reader and the fields it can recognize. An empty result is not proof of image authenticity or a complete forensic privacy review.
Removing EXIF does not remove information visible in the image itself. Review the result and its visible content before sharing it. See the Privacy page for how selected image files and ordinary website requests are handled.
