How 4ool Image Tools handles selected image files, temporary browser memory and ordinary website requests.
Selected images are processed locally
Images selected for editing are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to 4ool servers. The editing tools do not send the selected image file or its extracted metadata to an image-processing API.
File selection gives the page access to the file you choose for the current operation. The tools do not provide cloud storage, an image library, account history or a server-side copy of your edits.
Temporary data in your browser
Image processing may use browser memory, canvas surfaces, temporary Blob objects and object URLs. These are used to decode files, display previews and provide downloads.
The application releases temporary object URLs when they are no longer needed, such as when an image is replaced or its interface is closed. It does not intentionally save selected image files in a database or browser storage. Your browser and operating system control their own memory and download behavior.
Downloaded files
A download saves the generated copy through your browser’s normal download mechanism. Its location and retention are controlled by your browser, device and any storage service you choose afterward.
The tool does not overwrite the selected original. You are responsible for keeping or deleting original and downloaded copies on your own device.
EXIF and location information
The EXIF tools read supported metadata locally. If GPS coordinates are detected, they are displayed in the page without calling a mapping service.
A generated metadata-removal result is inspected locally with the supported reader. This is a practical check of readable metadata, not a promise that every possible proprietary field or visible identifying detail has been removed.
Ordinary website requests
Loading this website still makes normal web requests. The hosting and delivery infrastructure may receive ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time.
Local image processing describes how the selected image file is handled. It does not mean that visiting the website creates no network traffic or that no ordinary website information reaches the hosting infrastructure.
Advertising and analytics
This version does not install advertising or analytics scripts. There is no AdSense integration in this release.
If advertising or analytics is added later, this section should be updated to explain the actual providers, data practices and any applicable choices before those technologies are enabled. The selected-image processing design remains separate from ordinary site technologies.
